Raiders lost this game in overtime so dogs straight to g/f raiders played the bears the following week and beat them so it was a raiders bulldogs g/f. Finals system was very different back then.

I hated Mullins when i was a kid, but I must admit he was brilliant at Canberra and now very much overlooked. He didn't have such a great time at the Roosters though.
