@nonabliss im thinking about it when the weather starts to cool down im from canada. cost of flights over there arnt to shabby. how long are you going for.

@dipmuthafukinset I am currently in Kona. I am staying at the Wyndam Resort on Alii Rd. It is a bunch of resorts on this strip and it is only walking distance from a bunch of cool shops and the beach. If you do go, make sure you take the Big Island tour that will take you around the entire island. The rate is about $85 per person, but you can receive some discounts if you are willing to go to one of those time share things. Anyway, if you take the tour, hopefully you can get a tour guide

@dipmuthafukinset named Hilary....(that's with one L as he will tell you...and yes, it's a guy) Very interesting stories about the history of the Big Island and several interesting stops on the way. It is 12 hrs though so it is a very long day. They will take you to a restaurant for food (not included in the $85 bucks, but not that expensive....it's like $13 a meal..or you can pack your own lunch) Next you should see a luau. @dipmuthafukinset went to tonight was about $60....but we got one of those discounts. I think regular price is around $80 ...not sure though...Anyway the one we went to included food and drinks in price and we saw a show with real Hawaiian dancers and singing. It was cool. Those are just a few things to do around Kona. You can also book horse riding tours, dolphin swim tours...I went on one with a place called Neptune Charlies. It was so much fun even though I got seasick.
