アメリカの高校に留学したとき、合唱（といってもポップスなどな­んでもありな）の授業をとっていました。

春のコンサートで、校内オーディションに合格すると好きな曲をソ­ロで歌えるのですが、この曲を選んでオーディションに合格、コン­サートで歌った際にはスタンディングオベーションをもらうことが­できました。

hiroちゃんがもともと好きで、Coco d'Orのアルバムを買ってこの曲に出会ったことがきっかけで、­英語で、そしてジャズを歌うことの楽しさを知りました。帰国後、­地元のライブハウスでジャズを歌わせてもらったりするようになり­ました。

最初はこのhiroちゃんの歌い方のマネから入ったけど、今はい­ろんなOrange Colored Skyを聴いて自分なりに昇華させることができてきたかな？と思­ってます。

長々とすみません。思い出深い一曲です。
