Thanks for this. Kate's long been a favorite of mine. I had the good fortune to see her live in concert the year before she died. I've never seen a performer who had such an immediate rapport with the audience - which was quite large.
I have been down these roads and played these songs and there is not a time that when i see a hawk or when the hills have turned brown or the grapes in the valley that spirit of Kate is not there.All around you and if your quite on the coast when you get there and listen to stars and the planets and the ocean you can hear her singing with the Angels backing her up and you are One with them All.Close your eyes there and be quiet and listen,try it some time Here in the North Coast of Californina.
Kate was truly a gem and is missed terribly out here. Her songs, her warm demeanor and her sincerity are sadly lacking out here in the music business .... but Kate's music lives on and still warms the heart and soul of all who listen to her words and melodies. Thanks for this song.
That's an excellent slide show, accompanying an excellent song. Something special about Kate's music. I find it solacing and returning me to some kind of center.
