dear bette my name is jackson i am very touched by ur video you are very brave and blessed. 5 yrs ago i was on my death bed n didnt have much time i finally received a life saving heart transplant on december 25. i would like to think you for making this video cause it touches my heart and i would also like to think ur daughter because in my eyes she is a leader for all the teens. i am now a critical care nurse in a ER & i ve seen many touching moments thank u again n god bless you

Thank you Bette for so bravely sharing Erika's story with everyone.

My relatives, Sam and Lizzie Dawson knew Erika through DMC and we were all praying for Erika and the family during that awful time. It may sound perverse and like 'cold comfort' but, I truly hope it helps you to know that so many lives have been changed by her unselfish and giving decision to donate.
