  • ang tunay na bikol.. papakuloon muna ang gata kasabay karne saka sili hangang lumapot yan.. o kaya marinate muna baboy sa sili at gata saka igisa ssa rikado.. ewan lang, madami kase paraan ng pagluto.. pero gusto ng bikol babad an karne sa sili....

  • the above comment is in response to ginsenpai011. i agree with you on different ways of making Bicol Express but you cant call it that recipe the same anymore, because its not authentic. no offense. we bicolanos/as take pride on our cooking lalo na dito sa Bicol Express. yours looked really yummy but i have to pass. i liked mine super spicy. soaking the hot peepers in water is a NO NO to me. salamat sa response mo kabayan.

  • if you search the web, its stated that cecilia kalaw invented the recipe in the 1960 and guess where she grew up? Naga City which the heart of Bicolandia. however, ang mga lola ng mga lola ko always mentioned and taugh us how to cook the bicol express whick we call gulay na lada. they were around before the 1960's so therefore to prove my point it came from the bicol region. anyone can speak bicol dialect but that doesnt mean you call yourself bicolano. that goes for cooking as well.......

  • Hello im bicolana if you need a suggestion sa tamang pag luto ng Bicol Express u can ask us bicolanas and bicolanos kasi masisira kami nyan ng pagluto mo its not the right procedure..Please lang po pls listen sa comments ng bicolanos n bicolanas..... NO NO NO tomato sa Bicol Express and we never use pang gisa mix.

  • bicol express wasn't really from bicol...the recipe was invented by Calao in malate Paco...its just happen that it was in bicol style...tsaka hindi namn kau macicra dahil hindi namn kau ung me mali...tsaka nowadays marami ng procedure kung panu lutuin yan...hindi lng katulad ng procedure nyo...as long as nasasarapan ung kumakain...un importante dun..
