As always measure twice cut once - get a tub that will fit, be sure the tub drains the same as your previous one.
Otherwise you are looking at major plumbing work. I prefer 3 piece not a fan of tile as it does not last forever but plastic / fiberglass pretty much does.
First unscrew the drainage from the bottom and side of the tub, but sometimes if you have an old tub it will be heavy and be nailed directly to the wall and stubborn to get out.
