i saw the roses play 8 times back in the day - 89 onwards so have a good opinion of what the roses were like live. yes they were a great band - but live these kiddaz are up there with them!

It's a completley different sound anyway.. So it's not worth a comparison.

I've heard people say this guy's got a better voice than Ashcroft too.. Which is also laughable.

They're an incredible band, One of the best in Britian at the moment, of that there's no doubt but some people are saying they're superlative to anything else ever which is frankly taking it too far..

@michaelalanporter My God! you lot really can't see it can you? British musics dead! recorded musics dead! in three years time theres not even going to be a record industry or company. I used love the roses, Mondays, kingmaker, verve (without the "the") charlatans et al. and these bands were great at the time, I just wish someone would come up with something new and not just retread the same old ground with the same old people buying it.

I understand what you guys are doing, I'm sorry to say you're just not very good at it. seriously it's very generic, I could go to Camden tonight and see 10 - 20 bands that sound exactly like this. I don't know if you do this for a living? I hope it's just a hobby, You're really good musicians I fear you you just need a new direction.

you enitled to your opinion mate but to say you could hear "20 bands in camden that sound like this" is bollocks i dnt live in camdem or go their often but if there was any bands that sounded like exit calm i would of heard of them . knowones got this sound at the moment delivered with an intensity ive never seen by any band b4.. even if u dnt like this sound you cant deny theres somthing special goin on when they play

@rael1999  the roses never even got close to soundin this epic squire didnt hav the ideas rob marshall has, yer squire could play lots of fancy fiffs and scales and marshall style is very basic but combined with his heavy effects setup he produces sounds squire could only dream about makin
