Is there a way to get these dang names to "not" be bold, I cant tell which are read or not. I cant find that option anywhere? I dont want any bold after the message is read. Thanks great video..

Note that this version of mail is basically a copy of the Sparrow App which was released months ago in the App store! Lookup "Best Mac Email Client (Sparrow)" for more info

I don't mind change, but Lions mail.app is awful, at least there should be an option to have it set up like the earlier versions of mail. I'm getting this feeling that I would like to go back to snow leopard. So far its been a pain in the ass from the scroll to safari's opening to the last window.

@Versed2 You can view as previous Snow Leopard version - choose Preferences>Viewing>Classic View (the first check box option). Voila!

ugh i hate it how they are removing colors from the side icons in mail, finder, and itunes. makes everything look so dull. :/ anyways, i'm loving the new mail and looking forward to this summer.

Definitely like Mail 5. I even tried saving it to use on my Snow Leopard partition but it requires 10.7 :(

How does Mail 5 handle attachments? Is it any different to Mail 4, e.g. adopting an Outlook approach of storing attachments as filenames in a separate section of compose window rather than having them in the actual message. Also is the preview still there for images and pdfs? I presently use Mail Attachments Iconizer to ensure I always have icons, but just wondering if finally I can ditch it because Mail handles attachments properly.
