Hi Korsine I first heard this many years ago sung by Jake Thackray then looked him up on YouTube, he says that his version is a translation of Brassens who he is obviously a great admirer of, check out Thackray he too is a great performer
@DimaKats2 Irrelevent comment. Brassens didn't consider himself as a singer, but as a writer and poet.
But nobody accepted to sing his text, so he finally did it himself. The point is, you don't listen to Brassens because it's pretty, but for what it says.
And I don't speak Greek. If you do and the text is correctly translated, go on enjoy yourself!
But forget about the "better" versions of Brassens, this is no Black Eyed Peas ;) (which are great fun!)
@DoctorineKureha Yeah you are right, I speak some french and as I understand i think the translation is the same, and the music is great, also I love Black Eyed Peas. Si tu veux je pourais te envoyer le URL du chanson en grec et tu peux l'ecouter =]

@DimaKats2
If you STILL listen to BIP and even love them your taste of music is questionable anyway...
BIP arent musicians anymore, they represent and so are "the system" itself, so what are you commenting here at a video that shows real ART???

@applecom1de What is BIP? I told that I like Christos Thivaios version better, I didn't say that I don't like this
