Hey kevin, if you find another chicken, get some wheat and it will follow you.once you get it inside the pen.right click both chickens with a piece of wheat (you'll need two, one for each)

and they should "lay" an egg.or have a baby chicken im not sure.

use smooth stone bricks as the stairs because it matches but not to matches and how to make them is you put a 2x2 sqaure with smoothstone and they addedn them in 1.8 plz it looks sooo good and i think you should change all your cobblestone with stone bricks thank you for listening especially if you follow my instructions

I came up with some ideas for you to try out...

Expand upwards and backwards. Try to make an extremely large fence around the perimeter of your land. Light up everywhere nearby with torches. Have a rooftop animal garden where you can breed more animals. Make a minecart with a box at the bottom of your mine so you can flip a switch and send all valuables back up to your house. Make various bases that all connect to your house via minecart. Make an airbase accessed by minecart that drops you in.

How to get to the nether (or get obsidian) without a diamond pickaxe:

Make a bucket, fill it with lava, make a dirt mold one layer at a time, fill it with lava, pour water on it, water turns the lava sourceblock into ubsidian, add layer and repeat untill you have nether gate. remove the dirt mold and there you have it, your own nether gate. Thumb up so he can see this, it'll save us ages of waiting!
