This footage isn't really all from this performance - it shows Syd playing with a telecaster at 1:32, but at 6:02, he's very clearly shown playing a Dan Electro. It's not a case of him switching guitars mid-song, either, because you see him with one or the other numerous times.
@PaintedTeleportation Try AMM Music. They're really out there, their guitarist keith rowe was an influence on syd's experimentation with his guitar. and also the Soft Machine. They were the other house band with Pink Floyd at the UFO club
you can see john lennon and yoko ono on the same shot but they didn't even met eachother yet :p. those shot's are actually from a psichedelic festival from 1966. and there were always two bands playing at the same time so the sound was horrible. syd was on lsd (and john lennon to) that night and pink floyd played on that show, but they played horrible...
in this video you can see john lennon and yoko ono on the same shot and they didn't even met. i'm sure about it because i saw the movie 'atechnicolor dream'
@12lasma21 Thank goodness..I don't think they could stay awake at another eventful performance of this..That was truly a moment of inspired thinking when they let that tune rest in eternal peace lol..Did they ever finally get tuned and do any real songs?

How come all of this video fits to the music even though it's quite obviously Pink Floyd playing in at least two different places?

I'll confuse you even more - they didn't film them playing this version. This is a studio outtake.

Pink Floyd at that time were masters of improvisation!
I just love the part from 4:55 - 5:04 when Syd hits his guitar to get that amazing sound!
