WIth friends like Raj who needs enemies. First he was hopping Bernadette would drop Howard so he could be with her.  WHen that didn't happen, he screwed over Leonard to be with Penny.

Personally, if I had my way on this show I would never have let that be in the storyline. And if I came in after the fact I would write Raj off the show. Leonard, SHeldon and Howard deserve a better friend than this snake.

What makes BBT highly successful is that they have gone to great lengths to humanize these characters When you do that and build your show around the premise that these people could be your 'friends'...you then delve into the characters more. Very intense reactions...regardless of whether there was actual intercourse or not between Penny and Raj (and I do hope so because it adds some drama), I am baffled that so many people label Penny a "slut". Raj is an attractive guy, she is pretty, both are single. I believe Howard and Leonard both have been in "friends with benefits" relationships and no one calls them any names.
