These days I remember well, because we were always hanging out after the show at my house. Hicks got drunk and the others were searching my music collection for rarities. Today I`m happy to find anyone who listens to these sounds with an attentive attitude.

I saw this quintet every night during Christmas week at the Village Vanguard in 1980. It was one of the best music experiences of my life.

This is rare pleasure indeed, John Hicks  was a friend and I heard him play it many times.Have you any more from this concert? I'd love to hear more of this band, especially very underrated Albert Dailey. Thank you in advance.
