The lead programmer for firefall is Scott Youngblood. Also known as cornboy from his Tribes developer days with Dynamix. He co-created Tribes and Tribes 2. The guy is a guru in the industry. He and some of the other developers at Dynamix basically innovated a lot of what you are familiar with in many FPS games today. Its kind of weird Tribes is now owned by Hi-rez. But maybe this game will get the love it deserves.

I tend to play Global Agenda these days, a little bit like tribes. More like Team Fortress 2 however. Since getting rid of the extra fees for the agency wars i think its a worthwhile purchase.
