My guess is that Ziggy has spent very little time in cities in "the lower 48." The scenes in this video depict the typical goings-on in virtually ANY city in America and in the world. I'd expect to see these sorts of shenanigans in any urbanized area. What I'd suggest is that Ziggy spend some time in Philly. After a few days in some of our neighborhoods, he'd be RUSHING back to Anchorage.

im planning on going to alaska for 3 weeks in the next few months. anchorage was my chosen place to stay, as i heard that there was nothing to do anywhere else. im up for the whole wilderness/scenic vibe, and the point of me going to alaska was to escape to a less urbanised part of the world for a bit. however, i do want to be able to go out at night. and id like somewhere decent to snowboard. if anchorage is really like this, has any1 got any ideas as to some other part of alaska i cud try?

Fortunately, most people I met in >10 years up there were really nice. Apparently not all of them, though. And the economy was better when I started my career in the lower 48 than Anchorage.
