1. SF treaty draft (Before Dec, 1949) says Japan renounce Takeshima. But they reconsidered about Takeshima.
2. SF treaty draft (After Dec, 1949) says Takeshima belongs to Japan.
3. The final version of the SF treaty prescribes the domain that Japan abandons. And Takeshima is not mentioned in this version. In other words Takeshima is recognized as Japanese territory at this version.

First of all Korea never refuse to go to international court it's fact. I don't know where Japanese people get all this theories from but Dokdo is Korean. Just look at your maps 100~300 years ago any map. When you look at it, you could see colors are use to diffreciate the country and Dokdo is same color as Korea. Takeshima/Dokto was incorporated into Japan Shimane Prefecture in 1905, and Korea started to claim the islet belongs to Korea from 1950s, without reporting anything to Internationl Court of Justice, and suddenly abducted inocent fishermen and killed some again and again, still keep military force on the islet and occupying the Japanese land.
Under the modern law, Takeshima is Japanese land.

After the war, Dokdo was separated from Japan according to the Allied Powers decision to be under the US Forces rule until the island along with numerous other islands in accordance to a UN resolution was handed over to the Government of Korea which was established on August 15, 1948.
