@zike50000 Tethered means that everytime you wanna reboot your i device, you'll have to plug it into your computer, open redsnow and click on "just boot". Otherwise, it's gonna get stuck on the Apple logo.

Turn off your iphone. if you dont know how, hold the home and power button down for a while. Open up itunes without your iphone plugged in. Plug the one end in your iphone and before you plug the other in your computer, start holding the home button down, then plug it into your computer. If you did it right itunes will say something like this iphone needs restored. Try that, pm me if youneedhelp

Well the good news is that I managed to find a program that extracted the ipsw file out (should of been in the tutorial). Had luck with jailbreaking this before, but this won't boot at all. Using an iPod Touch 4G that had 4.2.1 jailbroken on it. Jailbroke a 2G touch before this as well. Repeated instructions twice, and it's still failing and telling me put it on iTunes. In other words, it doesn't work.
