Yeah some nice stuff here. Not sure when it turned all metal-ly & dumb..these days it seems to be bands that wind up signing to a bigger label and have to change their sound according to what the label wants...in some cases people say it's because the people in the band finally learned to play their instruments better..I can think of a few hxc bands i was into before they "crossed-over" to metal sounding music...take care

Yeah, your definitly right about the labels making them change their sound. Its a shame thatit happens. And your also right about getting better and crossing over. But it still breaks my heart hearing today's bands play nothing but breakdowns and scream all the time and calling that hardcore when there hardly isn't any punk in it! They need to know where their roots comes from!

Sometime after 86. Thats why we in So Cal just went back to calling it punk. I wanted nothing to do with that meat shit. That "hardcore" metal was an east coast thing.
