  • lol shes so cute!

  • Brenda Lee does a wonderful job on this song. This song is a good fit for her voice. Frank James

  • what year was this? i nned songs from around 1950??? :S i think this sounds like 60s tho! :/

  • like it but prefer the KINKS version

  • Brenda Lee does this one good. I also like it done by the originals Martha and the Vandella's. I like both reditions.

  • @anthony1935 The original song came in 1964.

  • Her voice really suits this song....I love it!!!!

  • Best version of this song ever !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • another great version of a totally terrific song...every rendition is just simply superduperific!

  • Marth REEVES DOES THI BETTER, ALTHOUGH I do like Brenda Lee!!!

  • BRENDA LEE has been singing at age 3,5, and made records at age 13.Have always liked her singing.

  • no sabes como me gusta esta cancion !!! gracias che

  • this is my favourite version!

  • one of a kind.

  • I think i like Martha Reeves and the Vandellas version better, maybe if she had Betty, and Rosalind singing in the background it would've been better, just my opinion.

  • I like the version by Martha Reeves and

    the Vandellas much better.

  • This is a very admirable cover version.

The British Invasion and Motown damaged so many careers. It would have been interesting if Brenda would have signed with Motown.

I think she would have charted.

  • Unfortunately, that's what your post sounded like, which is why you have received negative responses from several people. Apology accepted.

  • Super!

  • Niestety nie znam tej piosenki dzięki ale jest super.

  • There used to be a great version of Ms. Lee doing Bye Bye Blackbird! It was removed; is anyone able to let us hear this again? All of you do great work posting this superb Lady singing wonderful songs, thanks!

  • I have over 30 Brenda Lee albums in vinyl and CD forms. Many oast vinyl albums have been re-released in double CD sets. I have seen Brenda Lee and Marth Reeves in live performances and they both put on great shows. I was one of the lucky ones to have been photographed with Brenda during her "When You're Smiling" segment of her show. Appreciate those Polaroid cameras from back then!

  • I like it but I like the "martha and the vandellas" version more.

The backgroundsvocals here are not very clear.

  • ;) you're right - maybe because Brenda Lee is without The Vandellas ;)

I also prefer the Martha version - but I collect and like other versions from great songs ;)

Thanks for your comment ... Nice greetings

  • Thx you're too =)
