This is a very admirable cover version.

The British Invasion and Motown damaged so many careers. It would have been interesting if Brenda would have signed with Motown.

I have over 30 Brenda Lee albums in vinyl and CD forms. Many oast vinyl albums have been re-released in double CD sets. I have seen Brenda Lee and Marth Reeves in live performances and they both put on great shows. I was one of the lucky ones to have been photographed with Brenda during her "When You're Smiling" segment of her show. Appreciate those Polaroid cameras from back then!
