Not sure why beta made you change texture packs, unless you never made yours 1.2.2-menu-compatible.

Also, I always keep a bucket of water on my hotbar when I'm mining, especially down near the lava level. No telling when you'll break through into a lava pocket or get too close to the "stealth burning" corner -- especially when you're chasing dirt or minerals below level 10. And when you're on fire, the seconds it takes to open your inventory and find a bucket *matter*.

@liamhubbardxD It is Coe's Quest Livestream, and he posts about when it is a special event. It is always streaming but it is not always him- he has a few gamers who play on there and different games!

It's too bad this video is really old since using three torches per 5 blocks in a mine seems really wasteful when simply placing a torch on a single side to denote direction would be more effective. (Like say only place a torch on the left as you go in so that you know you're going back to the initial branch if torches are on the right)

btw, instead of that block you put to get to your branch mine that blocked your fall, you could have put ladders there instead, you'd grab to them when you jumped there, and it still would let you use the safe fall you made.

Those 4minutes of plain digging should be cut instead of fast forwarding.

I can understand fast forwarding on a monotonous activity that doesn't take long, but branch mining took waay too long.

You should have just showed us the start of it then cut it till a interesting part.

Your branch mines should really have two blocks between them - it's a lot more efficient

Solo mining makes you feel very lonely don't you think? You have a lot of time to think about how empty the minecraft world really is and how you're alone forever.., then i find diamond and i'm like "YES!!" and nothing else matters. It's awesome

You being an Artsy person it would be cool too see what you would come up with if you did a custom minecraft texture pack. also a big time saver would be when you go all 60 blocks, place the torches and start from the end so you dont have to walk back everytime.
