I got a shiny nidoran(male) at a chain of 14. lucky me ! I also have 2 pokemon that i randomly encounter(golbat, now a crobat, and a horsea, now a kingdra) and 3 other pokemon thourgh chaining(pidgey, now a Pidgeot, pichu, now a riachu, and a geodude, now a golem.

i just got into the grass at the resort area? and found a shiny faerow and my lvl 50 charizard killed it with a critical hit slash i threw my ds at the wall and it broke lol

Hey, I was just wondering, when you used the pokeradar, was the 1st patch you walked into a proper shiny patch, or just a regular patch? If it was just a regular looking patch then it was a random shiny, I had the same thing happen to me.

@stevenfromorkney this is what i did i walked into the grass and i wanted to chain voltorb so i used the pokeradar and when i saw my first grass after all four patches shook i walked into one then after the capture it said chain of one(1)

@radarhunt Yeah, that's what happened to me. It means you caught a random shiny, the ones that have a 1/8192 or something chance.
