I rented and played this game and i gotta say, its a decent game at best, it has its quirks like boring firefights and sometimes the AI is stupid but its good for a shooter game. No multiplayer though since people don't play online at all :P

the ps2 bond games were great! EA really did well towards the end.....with games like "everything or nothing"........this just looks and feels like EA when they FIRST came out on the ps2 with a bond game :(

@coondogtheman1234 The PS2 version of the game actually got the best reviews. It is quite different than the other versions though. There is no multiplayer, the whole game is seen from a third person perspective instead of a first person view. And there are fewer mission, plus the obvious graphical difference. But the fun factor for the PS2 version compared to the others is the best. So I recommend it. It is a fun game little game, and I rather enjoyed it.

well I have goldeneye 007 for the n64 and after I kill the bad guys I just mess around and shoot things. can you do this in this game or are you on a timed mission where you are heavily restricted to just missions? I'm gonna collect every game for the PS2 that plays like GTA.

@coondogtheman1234 Well as long as you don't finish the mission you can hang out in the game map as long as you want. It's not very much like GTA at all but you can't expect that from a Bond game. But if you want to run around randomly and shoot the environment I guess you could. Just don't finish your objectives. Of course you can't access certain areas without completing your objectives.

@JackTheGreaser so it's sort of like the game BLACK on the PS2. Black was very linear but I liked it I had unlimited health and ammo and I'd just shoot everything to see what bullets did to it.

@coondogtheman1234 Yeah I guess it's like that. Only difference is that the environment is not near as destructible as Black, you don't have unlimited life or ammo. But fun can still be had with this game.
