  • Great O/C gen3 M/board ! Loads of features...Will be buying this v.soon along with a 2600k i7~ Corsair H100 cpu cooler, 2x4gb 2000 ram (haven't decided which ones yet), HX850W psu, 2 x GTX 295's SLi ~ saving hard for GTX580 SLi !

ONE THING THOUGH... Why did Asrock include a VGA port !!?...Weird !

  • @kbkasey This board is amazing, it does everything I need it too and more, I would recommend this board to anyone who is enthusiastic about overclocking also! 1 thing I will say is that some low end CPU coolers may not fit because of the heat syncs , but if your buying a decent CPU cooler you will have no issues. :D good luck with your build!

  • Hey, thinking of getting this, will this go well with the i5 2500k, 2x4gb ddr3 corsair vengence. 750 watt power unit with gtx 560 ti (will be getting duel) Would you suggest a different motherboard to run better with these, or are you confident this will work with it well? :D thanks!

  • The onboard cooler is a pain... due to its size and due to the fact that many rams has large heatsinks on it... you can install nearly no aircooler model. Also ASRock delivers their flaggship with old software version (the x fast tools), with no free upgrade options. The OC utility is total crap also. The USB-lines only give standard power... to weak to connect a gamingmice and gamingkeyboard...

  • @Madowstone Thats why i do not use a standard heat sync, I use an antec kuhler h20 920 with this board. RAM problem you mentioned does not exist for me. You can update the software from their website.I agree that the utility you run in windows is pretty pointless, but handy, and you have many more advanced features in the bios.. also im using 2 top of the line gaming keyboard's and mice.. The Cyborg R.A.T. 7 and the Thermaltake Challenger Ultimate keyboard..with 0 issues.

  • NICE !! have you had any problems with this motheboard i am planning to do a build with this mobo and a i5 2500k cpu, i never herd of asrock are they reliable? and also how is the overcloking?

  • @raheemisbad Have not had any problems what so ever, very pleased with this product and AsRock are younger brothers to ASUS because their the same company backed organisation, they originally sent AsRock out to be a competitor for the other smaller buisnesses but it became so popular that its one of the best brands out their now in terms of quality motherboards.
