Can anyone tell me if the GT-10 has a Dual-COSM mode like the GT-8?And does the phrase trainer (looper) in GT-10 allow overdubbing? Please "reply". Thanks.

yes and yes

you can use 2 amp-sims parallel or switch between via ctrl-pedal or dynamic control (or controlled by internal pedal or midi or whatever)

and

you can overdub on the looper to infinity and beyond - but what's once recorded can't be erased unless you erase everything and start over (good for practice but not so for recording)

HI mate i want to connect my GT 10 to a BR 800 i bought a coaxial cable and i plugged on GT 10(DIGITAL OUT) and on the BR 800(LINE IN) but i can´t ear the GT 10 sound in my phones connected to the BR 800. Maybe its a configuration problem of both machines i don´t know,can you help me please ?

I have a question about gt 10. For example:

I created a superb distortion sound and I want to copy it to another patch. Do i have to create it again or there is an option to copy it by gt 10, without writing down on a piece of paper what i've done to create the sound??

ok, when you finish customizing the patch, press ''write'' then change the banks untill you see the one you want and then select the patch by pressing any of the numbered butons you want to write it and press ''write'' again, for example:

to copy U01-1 just press ''write'' go to U01-2 and press ''write'', it should write in U01-2 or wherever you want it to be

like tank said, the carvins are good amps for a great price. assuming you're using a combo amp, i haven't looked into their cabinets. i use the carvin sx200 and it's amazing how powerful that thing is. i usually practice with the volume knob at about 0.4/10.

when you are changing sounds, you are going through so many differant menus. if i play live i cant stop playing in the middle of a song just to play live. can i have no1 as a fuzz, then no2 as a delay distortion, then no3 as a clean delay, then no4 as a clean chorus, then change bank and have more of that???

May I ask a question? If I have a very poor amp, like a cheap Marshall MG would this still play well with such an amp? I am debateing wether I should just get a new amp, or buy this... I would appreciate if someone more knowledgable could answer me.

it won't make you're amp sound better, simple as that. so i would first go for a new amp for a good tone and than get this unit for all the effects.

I just got the GT-10, and I want to buy the Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive pedal to give some sound's a little more dist and sustain. Do you think that I really need to buy this pedal, or could I easily do without it?

Buying that would kinda be defeating the ultimate purpose of having the gt-10. It took me a while to get accustomed to it never mind getting it set up to sound properly on my halfstack. Going through the individual pages for your desired effect (in this case boss super overdrive). Tuning that to your liking along with the rest of the effects in the memory can result in some pretty killer tones without the need for further pedals.

i got the gt10 today and im not 100% impressed with the distortions on it, tried changing them but i cant get one i like. Effects and cleans are great but not sure about the distortions, but i suggest you go out and play the x3 and gt10 for AT LEAST an hour each.

Its probably not the distortion that you have a problem with, but the speakersimulation(It sucks in the GT-pedals.). ;X

great vids, thanks for taking the time. I understand there is a 38sec limit on the phrase loop. Is there a limit on the quantity of loops or layers that can be recorded then played back? it does not mention this in the manual.

Maybe I just can't use it properly, but no matter what settings I try, phaser, flanger and humanizer effects sound like crap. I just have it for only a week, so maybe I don't know it's possibilities yet... Does anybody know some good settings for phaser?

Actually, after getting the hi quality MP3 I take back what I said ... somewhat LOL

The first few really sound very much the same, but as you go through more you do hear a better defined diffence

So .... all you are playing are STOCK PATHCES ?? If so .. NICE. Normally the stock stuff blows ass. In this case, they are very nice.

I think I will forget the POD X3L and get what I know and love ... BOSS

I love my GT-8 and was looking into the GT-10 an found all your vids (awsome BTW), but for this vid, I really don't hear the difference from one to another to be honest.

I am also looking at the Pod X3L but had a Pod for a bit and did not really like it. Have your tried the X3 at all ??

I will demo this soon - it works like an amp does, but there's also a few tricks to make it even more expressive dynamically.

I've also bought the GT-10, and i'm grateful for theese vid's. Great learning..

Unfortunately mine's broke. i've got it on a Thursday, and strange scrape-noises came out of it on Sunday, like some voltage running in places it's not supposed to.

Can't wait to get it back from repair. Just too much fun to play guitar with. My guitars is an Gibson LP Robot, and an Ibanez AFG75T which i love..
