On valparaiso i often spend a great deal of time clearing brush and trees. I ask people to do the same, and when the foliage has been removed, we rarely ever lose, because they stick out like sore thumbs and we can pick them off long before they reach us. Even their recons are in danger from a long way off.

if you do that the only way to pass is using smoke grenades or the tanks for cover if the tank users arent tank whores who stay in the back the whole game

Too bad many recon users who do have C4 equipped are hiding in an obscure dark corner of the map, and many assault users prefer the assault rifles equipped with the launchers.

for falling back plant a row of c4 on a commonly used road hide somewhere and wait for a enemy high value vehicle ie a tank or apc then press detonate just before they go ovr the strip n itll blow under them instant tank kill

2 friends and i were on valparaso defending on the 3rd or 4th like loss of a base, you get to the spot where there is A LOT of forest. i took the right side, and the other two took left and right. we got rid of all the forests. it was in hardcore too, btw, but anyways, without forests we just shot them right when they tried to move forward. there are two little hills that we were on and all the forest below was gone :D

50 cal machine guns = chainsaw. Whenever I'm on defence i tear up the flora and often it makes the difference.
