I don't agree...well I do kinda.

It's not rushed but it is a slightly different version and I don't think it sounds as good. If you listen to her live performance at 'lollapalooza', you'll see that the length of the track is the same but it's just her and the piana and it sounds much better. The drums and guitars just make the song worse imho. She did this same versionon Jonathan Ross, UK's Letterman though so maybe she prefers this one?

i've seen this song performed live in other videos, and I prefer them, because this one was rushed. They probably gave her 3 minutes and they had to increase the tempo. And the rush left less room to do the fun, creative stuff she usually does. Still a good job tho

There might be little bitty comparisons of how & where she performs, but I think she does great on any venue. My problem with this particular video is not with her, but with Letterman not making the fuss I think he should have :) Maybe that's me, but I'm always in defensive mode when it comes to our girl :) Who's with me? :)

It seems her performances on the talk shows are not quite as good. Having watched a whole lot of her youtube videos the ones from lalapalooza were just beyond this world. I think that maybe she is not quite as relaxed on television. It is just one song after all, and more pressure. i could totally see how the format could hinder a performance a bit.

I didn't know Regina till I watched this show. I had downloaded it to see Jessica Biel's interview and ended enjoying Regina's performance very much. I even downloaded her albums. I hope her record label releases her albums in Brazil so I can buy them. And I hope she comes to Brazil someday. I'd love to see her live.

i dont see wats so bad about this performance..she isn't as loud, doesn't sing some of the higher notes etc but she is just singing it differently i dont think it sounds bad & its better than making a mistake. i didn't hear any. professional performers still get nervous in front of a live audience, i'm doing music performance & i can guarantee the best in my class still get nervous. nothing wrong with nerves!

Sure, it isn't her best, but then...so? That's part of what makes Regina special - she's real. You can tell she's a bit nervous here as she is in quite a few of her national TV performances. (She even outright admits it during her Good Morning America appearance, with a good sense of humor) And hell, even this was better than many live artist performances these days.
