@DasGoldenBoy Hey man, I love the Stones as much as anybody else -- they're the shit. But as much as I'd love to be able to say they never lip-synced, I Can't Always Get What I Want. Lol. ... Cheers :)
Can anyone confirm the month this was filmed? It's obviously the year of 1969 but it's got to be before the song was actually released because Mick and Charlie's hair is longer than on the North American tour in late '69.
@MattHatter According to the website, "Time Is On Our Side" (a great source of Stones info), this was recorded on June 16, 1969. That would mean it was only eight days after they told Brian he was no longer in the band and a few days after they annouced Mick Taylor was in.
@ChrislovesKrystal Youthful? Look at the movie Gimme Shelter, the documentary film of their 1969 tour of the USA. Keith Looks like a 42 year old man, who is 26 years old at the time.
@Bill Wyman fans: Check out his VOX violin bass, very rare to see him with that. VOX did make for him his "Bill Wyman" model, teardrop shape, (companion model of that which Brian Jones was frequently seen playing. And, his traditional, now legendary, matching pants and jacket suit... Mr. Cool, he was!
Hi ask Mick Taylor how much he made in the Stones and he will tell you he probably didn`t make a lot of money.Bill wyman stated he made more money from his Sticky Fingers restaurant in 1 year than he ever did playing bass for nearly 30 years with those guys.Sure he would have made millions later(Ronnie Wood did)The Stones have never had such a great guitar sound since M T left in `74.I think he is one of the greatest guitar players ever to come out of England.A class guitarist without a doubt.
@TheCymbalineSound No Shit!!! I think he was only 19 when they asked him to join. Really good player for the Stones considering he had to replace Brian (RIP)
@TheCymbalineSound He left because they wouldn`t give him any writing credits as everything that came from the stones was put out as jagger/richards and he was writing great songs for nothing.Hence the departure.
I loved David Frost /Stones when I was a kid

1:26 Keef almost caused Bill Wyman a black eye there.
Such a cool looking band. Compare that to the bricklayers of today, who don't know the meaning of the word "charisma".

Keith was well on his way using dope, bit could keep it together professionally. The Stones are everything to him.
