@daanmagier you can play as any of the characters in battle and i think when you are walking around(not sure :/) but not the dog (i think) but you can play all of the characters but only controlling one at a time during battling  but if i remember you can change your character during battle , hope this answers your question and if your buying it i would, just saying because it a great game

@adamlovesred yeah tri ace makes badass games.. i sadlyam gettin sick of the tales of franchise... there al the same thing no evolution on battle system and its always on a norse myth styled world and all i lvoe it but its gettin old lol.

@adamlovesred Oh yeah, don tI know it! i even prefer the first star oceans battle system to tales of. though i like tales of. Star ocean 3 was the ebst. They dont just havebetter battle systems but they have better music, story, character design... about everything lol n alot mor characters.

why in every single JRPG is there a damn little kid? That frickin sucks. They always have whiny little voices, complain too much and get on my nerves...Especially that Lymle chick from Star Ocean TLH. And those 2 kids from lost odyssey. And Presea from Symphonia. And everybody from Blue Dragon. And.....the list goes on and on and on....
