Look I'm shooting news in High def with an aspect ratio of 16:9 when I upload the clips to youtube they play in your player that's has a 4:3 aspect and the video looks like crap they are real small and there are 2 fat distracting black bars top and bottom, SO What gives Other web sites have decent players, your guys have all the resources too, so lets get going, I can code all in a day for you, but I'll give you guys a week LOL yea right, remember the better the video look the better the news

its obvious to me the internet would revolutionise news, to empower the individuals, like a true democracy should, I hear regularly in the news (internet news - sources i expect to be less governed) that there may be imminent restrictions placed on the web. this must not be allowed, whatever views people have, they are all valuable, as long as they are not screened, they are balanced, by the people. the internet will be controlled under 'terrorism' guidelines i fear. we mustnt let it happen.

1. It's necessary to differentiate between general punditry and actual news reporting. Some of the former might make news, but if this channel is going to avoid a lot of clutter it should restrict itself to the latter.

2. Based on the CNN debates, YT's record in this area isn't exactly stellar.

3. If they wanted to, YT could encourage people to go to campaign events and ask the questions the MSM won't. Since they haven't so far - for some reason or other - I don't expect that to change.
