I actually like this version more for reasons that even I cannot even fathom. It's calmer and soothing which doesn't really fit the chaos that is TvC but... well I'm not really sure myself haha. The rap is actually alright too; the second verse is pretty catchy

They should of kept both intros, I think they should of had the american one as an alt intro like the 3D fighters usually have like the main cinematic intro then the alt intros and embus and what not...As far as which is better, just depends on how I'm feeling...This one definitely fits the vs series better, but the jap one feels more epic especially at the end where ken is about to catch a shoryuken to the chin lol

It reminds me of the first Marvel VS Capcom.

It has that classic arcade fighter feel to it.

Plus i can hear the music better than the Japanese version.

I think it just fits LESS than the japanese version. Think about it. Tatsunoko is a japanese company. Across the border was a j-pop techno song. The old version was a bit more upbeat and spontaneous than this one and it seems more fitting for Tatsunoko's style than rap.

I think its mostly because after ALL the waiting we expected to boot up the game and listen and see the jap version and what we got was an english remake witha n opening full of flashy but not as engaging video transitions and stock art.
