For god sakes, NO. That is why this is such a great ad. It talks to the CORE of how it makes you feel. It's not about how much it costs, how shiny it is... it's the way it makes you feel; the way you are empowered.

Of course. All great advertising (gaming and otherwise), creates a connection between you (the consumer) and the product/brand. I just love that you never see the product and it still works.

It's sort of like the Halo3 ads; rather than showing game graphics (which all game ads do), they created an environment of shared reality... a veteran's museum, where the tales of the last war are preserved. It gives a nod to gamer as "veteran" (especially at that point in the franchise. Powerful stuff.
