  • wow fucking sick

  • This song is basically a template on simple blues licks, runs just played at a high tempo.

Anyone who can play the licks slow can play this, it really is just about practicing....some people will pick it up faster than others. That's just life.

Whereas good luck to you trying to copy the original from Buddy Guy, no generic licks found in there!!

  • If it's so generic, how come you know it's Stevie Ray after about 5 or 10 seconds (aside from his singing)?

  • @sam19851 buddy guy is a great musician but not a great guitarist at all and very generic, in my opinion only of course

  • pretty good

  • very good!

  • Very nice, added to my faves.

  • Shut up bighurt. I highly doubt you could do that. Nice job. Very good cover. How long did it take you to learn that? I wish I could do that.

  • That is ridiculous. Great job. What pickups you got in it, and what gauge strings?

  • it's van zandt blues model pickups and the gauge it's 0.13/0.16/0.19/0.38/0.48/0.58

  • Dude. This is sick. I love SRV and everyday I try to play as he did, but I gotta say this is ridiculous. How long did you spend on this piece?

  • Did you ever get a response from this guy?

I can play this tune, but I play the slower version of it. The faster version, such as this one....kind of fast to just pickup and way down some tabs.

  • I do play lead blues guitar and find this video very cool. I can play that tune, but only have invested time to learning the original slower pace version. This dude is playing the real McKoy! And he has invested a LOT of time into this tune. So tip your hats to this guy, because he deserves it for real.

    Seattle Dan

  • That's right machimelafattofare blues man rarely don't use the little finger because they use what is known as Box position chords

terzolilu, I gess you don't play the Blues

    Wes.

  • why you don't use your little finger???

  • because i never learn play guitar with my little finger but now occasionaly i play with him. sometime!

  • Blues man rarely use the little finfer

  • blues man rarely don't use the little finger, for example :stevie ray vaughan, buddy guy, b.b. king, albert king, gary moore, albert collins etc...who are blues man don't use their little finger??? (excuse me I don't speak English very well)

  • coz he only plays 2 notes on each string, and bending with ring finger is alot easier.if you use heavy gauge strings, it's just impossible to bend with your pinky

  • Difficult? Yes. Impossible? No.

  • @machimelafattofare its called slowhand. some of the greatest guitarist ever have used the 3 finger slowhand style. just an FYI

  • The guitar is out of tune,i think its your G, B and E strings are a bit sharp. But still a good effort man. Its always hard to replicate that particular solo from the austin city limits concert. I have tried myself, and I can only get close to it, you will never duplicate it accurately.

  • your b string is sharp or your high e is flat

  • No original

  • Magnifique !!! très bon jeu !!

Je suis débutant, et j'ai tenté de t'envoyer un message par Youtube j'espère que ça a fonctionné, j'aimerais quelque conseil, merci d'avance

  • sweet dude....great job!
