@FamilyPrisonerBlues It is not Neuschwanstein. I do not know which it is. You can tell by the turrets and towers. The ones on this castle are squared, whereas Neuschwanstein's are rounded. Plus, Neuschanstein's towers are tighter to the main construct. I can see how easy it is to confuse it, the one on this video is impressive.

@maxxpower17 OK, you don't have to admit, and I agree with the other one being more organic, but I don't think organic is synonymous with good. This version is simultaneously tighter and richer. It feels more complete and coherent to me, and I've heard others give it similar praise so I don't think it's just my imagination. And videos don't have to match lyrics, particularly in the case of cover bands, for whom the song is an homage to a band they like, not a personal vision demanding portrayal.

I was watching a Pet Shop Boys special recently when this video came on by West End Girls. As a cover band, they're not bad and give a different twist on some great music, but how far can you go covering someone else material (unless you're Michael Bolton)?

The funny thing is, when this video was shown and they were wearing those red hats, I thought they might be trying to imitate Devo.

If I had never heard the original, I would probably love this song. But these girls just cannot do what Neil and Chris could. It's very hard to redo a classic and actually make it better, the way that Eminem did with Aerosmith. To say that they did not clear this bar would be the understatement of the year.
