I don't hate on work people put into, but this is alright.. be awesome if you put more detail on the munny's though honestly believe this could have been better.. not by someone else, but by you guys. <:)
Sweet Munny's, If you ever do another Munny again try using acrylic paint markers like Decocolor, that way they have a smother design to them =] plus it's alot easier to draw on a design and fill it in with markers, then to paint it
i dont think theyre "ugly" .the whole point is you make them the way you want to, and it seems you guys had alot of fun making them, and enjoyed all the work you put into them. its about creativity, not a freakin beauty contest. SO...
good job people :3( ipersonally find them pretty darn cute X3)
I think they look pretty darn good, especially given the fact that (I'm assuming) these were your first AND you didn't have much time on your hands to do this.
Good jobs dudes. Im doing my first one now and learned a little too late that acrylics and brushes are tough to do small detail and not get brush marks. Add water to heavy body acrylics and do many thin coats of base colors, then go over outlines with black acrylic markers. Keep on doing them they only get better with each one!
@locusolus Oh don't give us that Dr. Bullshit copout... The real problem is you did it in one day, didn't take the time to find out how to do it the right way, and are so proud of this shit that you had to put a video up... I really hope you take more time learning you trade, and leave the toy making to artists.
@mcgowanm095 i'd like to address the "problem" you listed, even though you wrote "the real problem is" (indicating there would be just one, but then listed three). we did it in a few days, as stated in the video...i didn't realize there's a RIGHT way to make art. that's astonishing, and goes against what pretty much every artist in history has said. third, how is being proud of something you made a problem? your real problem is you have no life and you have no friends. oh wait, that's two.
@locusolus Real artists have passion about what they're creating and don't usually whip out pieces in a day, just to do it. They spend time meticulously practicing there craft over and over until they've got it right, and even then it's never perfect... You on the other hand whipped this travesty out over the course of a couple of days. I hope you don't consider surgery "your Art" because if you do a whole lot of people are going to be fucked up, when they visit your table of horrors.
oh, i thought you had one, lol. But yeah youre supposed to wash it with a soapy soap if that makes sense, to get all the factory grease and such off of it, and then it says to wash your hands before you touch it.
since the demographics on the video show the majority of viewers being between 13 and 17 years old, i really couldnt give a shit about what the comments say.
I'd like to see the munny's some of the negative posters come up with. Bet they look like something my dog made in the backyard. Personally i thought both of these were great. It's a DIY TOY, it isn't about how it looks, its about putting the effort into it.
Yeah, keep working on your painting, sewing, and general art skills. Just because these ones weren't professional quality doesn't mean you can't do it.
... Robin would have been cool had you cared to make the lines straight... or even if you were going for a choppy/cartoon style, the overlay of paint looked aweful...
i understand that it wasnt the "cleanest" but i realize that you all are just regular people like the rest of us lol. Im gonna get a munny and give it a whirl, hopefully mine turns out as good as Danielsan
