1st of all, who compares a non-touch screen device with a touch screen device? 2nd just turn the volume down until it vibrates and there is your silent mode on WM6.1... why go through a tonn of menus. iPhone is a joke in comparison to wm6.1 devices. Beat my Xperia apple fans. :)

This is not a fair comparison at all! You're using an outdated and non-touchscreen Windows Mobile device vs the latest iPhone?!

Try comparing an HTC Kaiser with Manilla 2D or Touch Pro with TouchFlo 3d to the iPhone's interface for a fair comparison.

I know the deafult Windows Mobile interface is crap, but realize that HTC is responsible for 80 percent of Windows Mobile phone sales and that the various interfaces for HTC's phones are way better than anything with the Pantech name.

I thought that this was a very fair review. If I go by just this review, I'd say that there is no difference between the iPhoneOS and WinMobile. FYI, touchscreen =/= instant win. I would go with the blackberry keyboard any day over the iPhone. But that's just me. And in the beginning, he did say experiances may vary between different phones.

This really lets you know how intuitive each respective operating system is. Now, there is limited capabilities due to the lack of touch hardware on the Windows Mobile Device, but definitely, the UI has a few kinks that need to be worked out.

Well if you want to use the phone for stuff like web browsing and email, then yea, get a data plan. However, if web browsing and e-mail is not your thing, there is no point on getting the data plan, just go with any regular plan and a messaging plan since the Pantech in the video is more text-friendly.

Just by looking at them I know which one is better. The iPhone has a larger screen and its touch senstive. Also as others said, the first Demo gave the iPhone a 1UP. But the Pantec is 100x better than my Old BlackJack II though. I actually hated windows because of that phone. I had a PC and a WinMo device at the same time. I slowly crossed over by getting an iMac then an iPhone later on.
