Ivana always seems so underscored to me, both nationally and internationally. Ill always love her gymnastics though, i hope shes one in the sport we don't loose soon...
@cuttingice47 She usually lands low on tumbles (on her double pike when she lands her face is still in her knees), and she doesn't get much height. She's very clean, but she loses for lack of power really. She loses on bars for lack of amplitude too. Same with vault. Her beam is okay minus her dismount which she lands low too. :(
I <3 ivana hong! its sad that she hasn't gotten an olympic chance cause she's just as good as bridget sloan and some other olypmic athletes, but she makes some mistakes a lot.
i think she shouldve still gone thought cuz chellsie memmel got injured b4 the olympics and they knew she couldnt compete b4 they even went but they still didnt take ivana as an alternate instead of her! tht reallly made me mad how they took chellsie cuz they probably couldve won if they took ivana instead...it wasnt like how samantha peszek got hurt there she was hurt b4 they even left!
No way. Chellsie was the second best bar worker in the USA (after Nastia) They NEEDED a bars score from her, and as long as she could still do a bars routine, she was in. Bars was Ivana's weakest event. She would have been no use to the team there.

I dont want know why but her gymnastics looks very messy to me ... I dont like her as a gymnast .. :/ idk why though .. all respect to her though

in 2008 she broke her ankle and he coach didnt care so that y she made mistakes just before the olympics
