  • I remember this song from MTVs Headbangers Ball, and loved it! My introduction to them, and grunge and Alternative Music were coming into their own. Great environmental message. Gonna kill your Mother..Mother Earth.

  • wow they are metal...as beavis would say

"huh huh hmm ill be damned huh"

  • This song is the best. The early 90's....The start of guys wearing their hair long again, good music, The beauty of the Seattle sound..Soundgarden had such awareness.."Gonna kill your Mother... and I love her." Who the fuck writes songs like this anymore? "

  • evenflow? Funny that it predates Pearl Jam....and I love the environmental message

  • amo amo amo esta banda, Chris Cornell!!!!!

  • amo amo amo esta banda, Chris Cornell!!!!!

  • chris cornell has the best voice ever, real shit.

  • Ok. It's sad that "Pacific Heights" (1991) led me here. Seeing Joker get smashed in with a golf club with this video in the backround was surreal!

  • @frankasu03 Me to man, my introduction to Soundgarden was from that movie.

  • kick ass, I love the fusion of indie rock with heavy metal, fucking explosive combination

  • This is an amazing song. Anyone else hear "Evenflow" in it?

  • @pbruno34 yes, well spotted

  • @pbruno34 no....just...no.

  • I have sudden wish to kill my mother

  • what a great song !! , Soundgarden forever ^^ !!

  • Chris Cornell is in a league all his own. OMG. One of my all time favorite bands.

  • Perfect vocals by Cornell. Its no wonder he never nailed song live.

  • This is an awesome song!

  • these guYS WERE ROCKING years before grunge was around its a shame their included in the nirvana catogry

  • no dislikes :)

  • this song is so beautiful

  • Saw these guys at the Marquee in London back in the late '80s. Two of my buddies and I did some stage diving with Chris Cornell. Back then he was crazy like the rest of us.

  • Chris looks young like little baby.....

  • @fudlohothwitt Yeah I´ve never seen Chris without beard before.

  • @fudlohothwitt Young yes but no baby.

  • Soundgarden is not grunge. Soundgarden is fuckin' ROCK N' ROLL!!

  • memories ...................

  • Nice, for some reason, the version of Hands All Over on the Telephantasm album doesn't sound as crisp as this version.

  • Was lucky enough to hear them play this in Seattle at their first real show outside a bar (although Big Dumb Sex and Big Bottom stole the show). Still remember that even after they got big, you could still bump in to Kim their bassist at the Rock Candy on weekends having a beer and being really humble... guy was a class act all the way.

  • You can hear the Pearl Jam "Evenflow" riff in there....

  • @glueforall Yeah. But it makes more sense the other way round... In Pearl Jam's "Evenflow" that one could hear "Hands all over".

  • @Bitteulze Well sure, but what i was pointing out is that blatantly or (more likely) subconsiously, they copped the "Hands All Over" riff when putting together "Evenflow"...probably unintentionally sounding like the main "riff" (if you will) of the Soundgarden song

  • imaging turning on mtv and this was playing...

  • This Video Is Seen In Pacific Heights

  • @Sizzleboy11 hell yeah-that scene with Michael Keaton is classic.

  • Chris Cornell is absolutely adorable.

  • Sick! I love this song but I had never seen the video.

  • anyone has any interpretation of this song?

It sounds like a commentary on capitalism and the state of the world. Great lyrics by Chris!

  • @MissusFingerBottom it was Soundgarden's attempt at writing a song about enviromental awareness... mighty fine song it is too

  • @metallybenj yea I had no idea why I said capitalism when the "mother" in this is mother nature. SG is great!

  • Very entertaining...I think the philosphers Beavis and Butt head would have loved it.

  • @2High2Die738 the great minds of beavis and butthead would have liked this

  • Without his mustache or goatee, Chris looks 15.

  • one of the prettiest drum kits I ever seen. Small toms, tough

  • thanks for uploading.this is my favorite song.i've heard everything from the grunge era but for some reason i love this song.
