its so funny how people are ashamed of loving songs like this or, as the man below stated, Third Eye Blind's music. i STILL love it and would see Third Eye Blind (in their prime) again and again and again. they were amazing at one point in time. i love this part of the 90s. pseudo-intellectual, self-aware semi-punk. so great.

As cheesy as this lyrics to the song are, I still like it for some reason. I saw them live in 1998 when they opened for Third Eye Blind at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA. (it took a lot of guts to admit that), and the sound was amazing... they sang perfectly in tune and the balance on the instrumentals was phenomenal.

I'm impressed, he actually sounds similar to his studio version. Unlike most artist these days. Video quality may be one of the reasons for the not so nice guitar sound quality.
