Sometimes another Music Composer does well for his movies (John Williams: THE FURY, Giorgio Moroder: SCARFACE, Ennio Morricone: THE UNTOUCHABLES).

But Other Composers do HORRIBLE Music for DePalma's movies (Patrick Doyle: CARLITO'S WAY, Dave Grusin: THE BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES, Mark Isham: THE BLACK DAHLIA, Ryiuchi Sakamoto: SNAKE EYES)

IDRIS1130: I SO AGREE with what you say about Pino Donaggio being sorely Underrated. And I think about his Music ALL THE TIME now!

And how Ironic that whenever DePalma gets hired to Direct a movie as a "Gun-for-Hire", the Big-Time PRODUCER always wants Somebody ELSE to do the Score---and the only time DePalma got to hire Pino was when he was Directing one of his OWN personal projects.

I love this main theme from Dressed To Kill beautiful score so sad and touching. Dressed To Kill is my favourite music soundtrack by Pino Donaggio. Nancy Allen was beautiful in this film though. One of the greatest movie scores that stands the test of time.

I've heard this before. It was copied from a classical composer which has been done so many other times. ie Sound of music was copied from Beeethoven.
