I loved the rayman series, the rabbits ruined it though. Although im glad with rayman just being rayman is RM: origins, i did miss the 3D, but origins is a lot of fun, it has lastinility issues, but a lot of fun. Im going to play the shit out of the rayman 3 hd coming to psn and xbla, because i love ps2 remakes. Rayman = A cheerful, innocent, beautiful adventure of the ages.

Rayman 2 = A mysterious world, Rayman's first entry into 3D. Timeless classic.

Rayman 3 = An underrated gem. Great sense of humor, beautiful art design like always.

Rayman: Origins = Sadly, back to 2D. But not to be mistaken with a cheap renaissance. Full HD, beautiful environments with a lot of elements taken from the original.

This is the best Rayman game in my opinion. Here's why:

1) Rayman's hair is more stylish, and now he has a hoodie.

2) This game has the best graphics i've ever seen on a PS2.

3) The scenery is astounding, and the powerups are a big improvement.

4) This commercial :)

@fandoalemao Rayman 2 was, indeed, pretty cool. Rayman 3 was my favourite. But Origins is going to be the best, and is already the highest rated Rayman game to date. The REAL Rayman lovers are not into the 3D stuff = it started out as a 2D platformer, and that's where it's roots are. Now I respect you in your opinion about 2D/3D, but do note that Ubisoft is a publisher, and doesn't make games themselves = Assassin's Creed was not made by the same people that made Rayman.
