I bought a MacPro8core2.8Mhz in december of 2008, it replaced a G4 I'd been using since 2000(?) for music/Protools Digi001 and then a year ago february I bought this MacProLaptop2.4 to replace the G3(white) laptop I'd had since the summer of 2000(?). Maybe Mac is not bothering with the big MacPro is because it's a monster that the PC group really can't touch!!! Mac . . . Works for me!!! As for Apple's lawsuit... just free promo!!!

What? I have the brand new 15 inch unibody macbook pro and there is a lil 1inch x 0.5inch flap to the right on the bottom, pushing it causes the battery to pop out, and it gives me access to the HD.

You might not like the unibody but one thing I gotta tell you is that is freaking durable. I had a Penryn Macbook Pro and it was a great laptop, but the material on that one was no way near as good as the unibody. The unibodies are gonna be there for quite some time because they're recent and look how long the Penryn Macbook Pro lasted. So give it a good 1-2 yr until they redesign it.

On the contrary, I find Mac is a little update happy. As soon as you buy one, it becomes obsolete the next week, like a bad relationsip.
