  • he says that was cool ? fuckoff idiot

  • I used a brass pipe with two fittings (with pipe screens in them) on the ends to connect the hoses to, and filled the pipe with vermiculite as a flashback arrestor. Worked perfectly fine. Make sure to use a bubbler as well.

  • Smokin...

    Thom

  • Man. You need to separate the oxygen from the hydrogen. Not doing this risks explosion because you have all elements you need to have an instantaneous burn with just one missing element - a spark.

  • @fuzzywzhe They do not really separate the two gases. Normally there's a risk explosions.. But they got this clever device, flashback arrestor, that prevent it and confines the reaction only at the nozzle. ..

  • make it wet

  • good half way good idea

  • easier to use air stone instead of bronze wool or copper wool they come in all shapes and sizes so its easy to fit one in a pipe or hose on professional hydrogen welding equipment that is what i have seen on them as a flash back arrestor is an airstone

  • You can use the torch tip from Home Depot

If you get an F-16 Pulse King on ebay it will produce monotomic hydrogen and will supercharge your HHO cell

  • @cbateman9707

F-16 Pulse King? You mean that piece of shit PWM that does NOTHING but introduce huge amounts of signal noise into your electrical system?

  • @Hardwyre You know, I would tend to agree with you all during my recent 1 month worth of generator experiments. Until yesterday.

I designed a cell to where I needed to keep opening and closing the circuit as fast as I can. It seemed to maintain top production. At a higher voltage of course. Around 40ish.

I haven't had a chance to investigate further. But, there may be a use for pwm after all.

  • love the idea wit the ball pump fitting

  • Try glass wool the yellow stuff used for insulating roof spaces and hot water tanks

a few bits of it in the tube works better than any of the metal wools, and its easy to find.

  • Wet the filter will help build pressure and it will keep the flame from backing up in the line

  • Neat little but you got there ! ,Suppose it kind of regulates the up keep of pressure too ? but maybe not enough ?.

  • it is danger ! just too simple to stop fireback

  • Stop! oh good you saw it.

  • take a x 11!!!!! like me..i have a simpel arestorback flame divise!!!!..:)in the x11!!

  • you need more gas production and let the cell run just a little bit to clear out the air in the lines good work i want to see it when you get it to light !

  • I been using butts too ... take the paper off it though.

  • There is no paper on that filer

  • My bad ...

It looked like it was coming out where the holes in the filter are. Don't know if it matters or not, I use filter that has been smoked.

Also try waiting a few b4 you try to light it.Let the air get outso you don't have it sucking back into the tube.

  • nice try with the butt filter=]

  • you are not getting quite enough gas flow for this experiment ... but you are correct, the cig butt and great ... works better if its wet but still not as good as bronze wool ... frankly, you should even wet the bronze wool ... am so glad you did not blow up ... I have seen enough of those ... you got lucky ...

  • Flash Back on a little system like mine is no big deal. It's kind of cool!! Thanks for your input!

  • been there and done that i saw that coming
