well it is still a parenting fail, IMHO as a parent you should know what video games that your children are playing and there given ratings associated with those games, the fail comes in when the parent knows nothing about the game. Even if they have a friend over 17 buy it for them, i highly doubt that they got the money from working when they are 12 the parent had to enable them with the funds to buy the $60 game one way or another without asking questions, or the child lied to the parent.
