Funny how the Doctor spent his whole time always telling Jack "Don't!" and "Stop it!" and trying to hold Jack back....but his last act as the Tenth Doctor is to find Jack a date....lol the irony....
@gordonramsay78 They'll need something for series/season 5 or 6. Also, I think they introduced that aspect, because they wanted to give a darker edge to the Doctor when Doctor Who was ressurected in 2005.
because it takes away the mystic-ness of the time lords....it was the same reason that RTD did not allow the idea of a spin about a young Doctor....because it would ruin the mysteriousness and darkness of the character....
It was never revealed what the Nightmare Child was. Maybe it will be in the future, but all we know is that it was something involved in the Time War.
Hey, i just thought of something. If the earth was moved to a different position in space, then wouldn't the rift not be there in that new position? Isn't the rift centered on one particular point in space, which just happened to be where Cardiff was?
You know the editing in this episode is rubbish when rose walks up to the comp, her hair is in and out of her ear and marthas ear peice is on and off when she says goodbye to jack...look out for it...i find it quite funny :)
I was watching this episode with my nephew. In the scene where the Doctor's fone rings - I made my house fone start ringing. I told him it was Torchwood calling him. For a second he actually believed me. Bless.
I love the way the new series twists the story.. not.... it's weird how he got blown up by the hand of omega, yet he goes into the night mare child? eh, maybe they foudn he escaped from omega and then he flew into it
Actually, if you watch Remembrance of the Daleks properly, look carefully as the ship gets blown up by the Hand of Omega, and you can see a small object falling from the ship's underbelly. This is Davros' escape pod. Trust me, I've got the DVD! If you get the chance, listen to Paul Mcgann's audio story, Terra Firma, that confirms that Davros escaped the explosion and despite the Daleks' efforts to execute him, he becomes their Emperor at the end of the story. This leads into the Time War.
yeh loads of people tried but it's just a 'this number doesn't exist' one, there was a small piece on a newspaper on the net about hundreds of fans phoning it.
This was an epic finale, but not as epic as the end of time, I LOVE THE NEW SERIES SO MUCH (S5)!!!!

instead of talking about the time war why don't they make an episode that's based on the time war.
gordonramsay78 2 years ago 7
I guess that would take away that certain mysteriousness that the Doctor's/Time Lord history has... still would be an epic story :)

She does throughout the whole two series, like in doomsday she was just acting like a selfish little girl

The tune when the Doctor feels so whipped and she's begging him to not give up. So sad and desparate.
