Be careful tho seems like the heat sync gets filled with pet hair and overheats a lot of you don't clean it out regularly. Not just saying that and I have the pent, r processor and the 4 is better I'm thinking of getting it because mine runs at 2.55 ghz

I bought this computer a year ago from emachnies refurbished for around $200 and they ripped me off by giving me 1.5 gig instead of 2 gig and the graphics card was suppoused to be 512m but it became 256m. Emachines SUCK.

emachines T5046 windows xp 2002 sp3, pentium 4 3.06g. 200gb HD, i bought this Rig in2005 and i never had a problem nneevveerr. high quality MSi 7173 ver 1 motherboard. its not the where you bought it that matters what matters is the inside quality motherboard hd ram CPU psu etc. and he didnt even go over the motherboard specs or bios version.

motherboard problems are very very common in emachines, especially those made before 2008.
