Um, does anyone else hear that this version is too fast? It is NOT this fast on the actual album. Great song and cover, but this sounds fucked at such a high speed.
Why do some of these songs on this album say they have WMG content and can't be shown in the US? (WMG = Warner Music Group, who I am guessing doesn't produce their CDs)
The cover by Bewitched is better. :) I have a love/hate relationship with Propaghandi. 'How To Clean Everything' was like, 'Ok, I disagree a little with the politics, but the riffs are rifftastic.' I had that on vinyl and practically wore it down to nothing. All the albums after that, the more lefter-wing-than-thou they got, the more the music just wasn't there. They should have borrowed a page from the AC/DC Book of Rock, and said 'bollocks to politics'!!
@sheerterror77 AC/DC never sold out-they earned every bit of their success and never changed no matter what the style/trend that year was. And Bewitched already did 'something different'-a way better cover of 'Come to the Sabbath.'
@DevSodDribble I wasn't trying to say AC/DC was a sell-out band, I don't even care if they are or not. Why borrow a page of something already successful for the sake of money and instead do what you want to do with your music? Propagandhi wouldn't be the same if they weren't political! I'm glad the punk rock genre has a band like them! (yes punk is political but not at the same caliber)
And I heard the Bewitched cover before, I disagree but thats just my opinion.
@Killpigs20 someday in 20 years, your kids are going to piss themselves about whatever bullshit you're listening to now. old music is better. sorry! try again next year.
House of the Rising Sun. Black Betty. In The Pines. Where Did You Sleep Last Night.
A well written song fit for humanity rather than for a specific generation should sound music to the next generation like it did the last, though not necessarily the further previous like the last.
