I actually really enjoyed this Butch! I live in Toronto, have been here for about 4 years now and don't like it. Spent most of my life in London, ON and two brief stints in Calgary, but of any city I've ever visited Vancouver is the place where I feel I could live my life the way that I want to. I've only visited twice once in 1993 for a week and again for a week in 2000 and I absolutely did not want to leave. I'm starting to put the wheels in motion to move there in the next two years.
@8jaime8 Fresco closed a couple of years ago and is replaced with a gay lounge. Hamburger Mary's is under new management but still continues to serve up great burgers. I'll try to make a new video this next summer with my new high def camera.
Now I remember better, it was The Odyssey where I was with some classmates for the "homework" about night life in Vancouver...since we were all straight it was awkward being there so we just hang out for 30 minutes or so and then we went to the Roxy´s I guess. I bought a bike and used to ride everywere. People is nice and it´s the city with more coffee shops in the word! (correct me if I´m wrong). I had a very nice staying, hope to visit some day again!
It brought me back good memories. I lived in Davie St. close to Jervis St. back in 1993, only one month. Then I moved to another apartment on Berkley St. very close to Robson. A lot of things have changed since then, but I remember pretty well the Greek Restaurant, of course the Super Value and "The Celebrities Club"!!!! well that´s because I had an ESL Teacher who made my classements and me to go because he said we had to know everything about Canadian Culture...very nice downtown in summer
Nice tour. The Gay Village in Vancouver looks really good.

looks like a clean, laid back, mellow city. NYC is way different but this is also great. Great vid, thanks for making it!
