  • My God that motor sounds so good! (O_O)

  • I watch this vid a few times a week - I love this boat. Ive been looking for one but there were only about, what, 80 of the made in '69' and less in '70 or something close to that.

Sweet ride - major boat envy

  • That is one of the finest boats ever made!! Do me a favor and never get rid of it or let me know if you want to sell it :)

  • @Nikkodemis - I sold it! sorry, the new owner is doing a total top to bottom resto.

    My new boat is a 1974 55' Chris-Craft Commander

  • @fxa323014r

Wow - quite a step up indeed. I hope the new owner of the Commander is happy. Hopefully the boy got to the beach and the girls like the comfort of the 55 footer.

I still look at the Commanders and the XK19 and drool but maybe its better I dont have the darn thing since Id spend way more on fuel than the wife would be happy with.

    Enjoy the ride

  • LOVE the deep but loud V-8 rumble of this boat along with the classy vintage styling. That is a SWEET boat!

  • Brother Whit...

What an awesome video!!! U should do this for a living!!! (play with cool old Commanders i mean!!) haha!! Golleeeee...that reminds me SOOOOO much of my '68 23' Lancer Sport. I even punched the holes in the transom and put factory exhaust tips cuz i hadta hear THAT sound!! Awesome boat and stellar photography!! Give them young'ins a hug from old Uncle Scott :^)

  • i don't think those kids know how lucky thy are to ride in a wooden antique.

  • Actually it's fiberglass, not wooden. And so cool, very nice

  • I have an 1984 chris craft scorpion 210 ,480 hp , but i love this boat very sleek. great video and great kids!

  • Beautiful boat, that is one sweet Chris Craft! Lot's of luck with it. Check out the maritime museum's website, they are in Newport News VA...they own the Chris Craft archive.

  • Is it a V-drive?

  • I have been looking [obsessing] lately at the Chris Craft fiberglass boats of the late 60's and 70's. You have an absolute gem there. The styling and appearance is wicked. Forgive the comparison, but it looks like an '69 Chevelle on water. Love it! Tell me more.
