  • Wow!! There IS someone out there who knows about the Beyond. Thank YOU so much for this! My one and only cassestte of these guys got destroyed. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for sharing!!

  • Please reform!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Neil Cooper is now in Therapy?

  • Forgot to add, I also have a demo CD as well as a couple of fanzines they did before releasing this album, I forget which tracks were on it. Unfortunately I'm no longer in the UK but I'll see if my brother can dig it out so I can post them.

    Thank you Auntie Beyond!

  • @youngscot I got the demo CD from my dad, OMG its so good, Neil Cooper is an amazing drummer

  • Awesome band, saw them a few times back in the day and they never failed to impress- so far ahead of their time!

After The Beyond they formed another band called Gorilla which included a violin player IIRC- can't find the CD I managed to find tho!

  • What an awesome, awesome band. Saw them a few times back in the day. Looked everywhere on the internet for their stuff and ended up importing the crawl album from italy second hand, a few years back.

  • You can get this entire album on the Nokia music store for £7.99 - after which you might want to google "digital rights removal tool", allegedly.

  • supported these lads at derby arena, happy days

  • Still one of the best albums of all time, saw them several times, best was at The Oval in Norwich.

  • thanks for posting. this album came out when i was in the army. i went to the PX and saw this cassette and thought i'd give it a try. this whole album is fucking awesome. killer drums and guitars. and i still have the cassette and managed to pick up a used copy CD.

  • Wow. Takes me back. Huge influence on me. Very melodic.

  • Saw this lot twice in Liverpool in 1990, they were absolutely awesome. Should have been huge.

  • saw these guys supporting living colour i think. awesome live band. cheers for posting.

  • Played with them a few times, great band. You're all right as well Crawl still sounds awesome to this very day!

  • unique album!!

    progressive grunge!

  • Crawl sounds amazing all these years later! Just amazing!

  • The Beyond were a great band. "Crawl" was/is a classic album, despite the drums being described as 'tinny' in KERRANG! Well, what do they know? (:-)) Fave song is "Sacred Garden", which was on a KERRANG! Flexi-Disc many moons ago.

  • Yeah I remember that song, don't think it was on anything else.

Can you rip it and put it online?

And if anyone can rip their albums/eps if you have them and put them online...

They aren't available anywhere which is a shame in this day and age.

  • Sacred Garden is the first song on Crawl. I have Crawl, Chasm and also en EP called Raging EP. I can rip them and share them on limewire or send them to you if you want ?

  • @semidrums

Hi, would you be able to put chasm online somewhere, it's the only thing I've not heard and have been hunting for it for ages, cheers

  • Andy is my guitar teacher. And Leon poon

  • Simply the greatest band who never got anywhere... Neil, the drummer, plays with Therapy? now, in case you're interested and Andy and Jim are in a band called Leon.
